About The Position

Under the supervision of the District Sales Supervisor or Lottery Sales Manager, the District Sales Representative serves as the liaison in field contacts between the Lottery and approximately 130-180 Lottery retailer accounts within an assigned geographic area (determined by postal zip codes). The District Sales Representative is assigned a state van and conducts field visits with a predetermined portion of the assigned Lottery retailers in the assigned territory each day to ensure direct contact is maintained with retailers and assistance is provided to Retailers in the marketing of Lottery products. Requirements

  • This position requires a current District Sales Representative exam.
  • The California State Lottery Act provides that no person may be hired as an employee of the Commission if that person has been convicted of a felony or any gambling related offense.
  • The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
  • This position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
