Your Best Career Experience As a Dealer Distribution Specialist, you will play a foundational part of SunSetter’s success. SunSetter is America’s #1 Awning for a reason. We generate sales leads for our dealers to run In Home Consults and ultimately close the sale. We are in search of a dealer distribution specialist who can help to identify new dealers to improve the overall performance of our Lead Program sales results. This job is fast paced, requires outbound communication to potential prospects and will be immediately impacting business results. Your Best Career Experience Responsibilities SunSetter Products, is America’s largest manufacturer and marketer of retractable home awnings with the goal of becoming America’s #1 Shade Solution. The SunSetter District Sales Manager role is an exempt role based in the region(s) they cover. We are hiring a specialist that will be supporting the northeast and southeast regions. You will be responsible for organizing a call plan based on Target Markets to identify new dealers based on fit. Travel to conduct in person analysis based on total opportunity is not required, but it is encouraged– roughly 25 – 40% travel. Here’s a bit more about what you can expect your time to look like: Utilize the existing Target Market file to narrow focus on areas of the country that need new or improved dealer distribution in the SunSetter dealer lead program. Search for qualified prospects utilizing the internet to find competitive manufacturers, shade adjacencies and existing home improvement companies to gauge interest in becoming a SunSetter dealer. Develop a robust tracking system to consistently reach out to potential prospects through outbound calls and emails that includes a way to archive conversations with prospects for long term documentation. Utilize Ideal Candidate Profile to screen potential prospects and take notes on dealer fit Conduct focused Call Campaigns by segment (competitive brands, home improvement adjacencies, etc) to determine if the segment generates a strong candidate fit. Build Quarterly Deep Dive report outs based on dealer network performance. For those underperforming, evaluate and determine if they should be added into the Target Market file to identify new distribution. Work with long term strong performing dealers to expand into additional contiguous and non-contiguous territories. Set out clear expectations and gain commitments with robust tracking timeline plans to ensure that the dealer addition is delivering strong results. Work with underperforming dealers to determine if they can turn around their performance to remain in the lead program. If so, develop tracking methods to see improvement and if there is no improvement, add to Target Market file for prospecting. Facilitate strategic conversations and build contracts that win back competitive units – track win back rates Manage the inbound “Become a Dealer” requests Upon agreeance that the prospect is a good fit for the SunSetter dealer program, provide an overview of the account to the Leadership to gain approval to add into the dealer network. Solicit feedback from current dealers who may have contacts that are good additions into the Dealer Lead Program Actively partner with Marketing, Customer Service, Product and SWF teams to align on Best Practices Once a strong prospect has been identified and approved, assist in enrolling the new dealer in signed Terms and Conditions and Onboarding. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 30% of eligible wages in accordance with the terms of the company's incentive compensation program associated with this role. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related fields preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, particularly working within a network of dealers.
  • Experience working with bringing on new accounts, evaluating based on profile/fit
  • Outstanding organizational skills with ability to work on multiple tasks; set daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
  • Proponent of building out metrics to reach a trackable goal
  • Results-oriented self-starter with track record of actively driving trackable results
  • Strong analytical skills, proven ability to leverage data driven insight to drive strategy
  • Excellent planning and time management skills necessary
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, competitive, and dynamic team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strong ability to think proactively and creatively
  • Ability to travel by car
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs including Teams, Dynamics, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver’s license
