Our high retention rate is influenced by a unique compensation program for positions that are more than just jobs - they're chances to grow, do what you love and build a career with us! www.expeditors.com Major Duties and Responsibilities: Create and distribute weekly sales reports Maintain up to date account of progress on target accounts Make 15 sales calls (visits) each week and record them in CRM database (60% target accounts, 30% prospects, 10% retention) Send weekly call summary and next week’s plan to District Sales Manager Actively participate in local trade groups to promote added-value and customized solutions to clients Assess market industry for trends and communicate them to operations Manage assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers in this area Meet expected contribution to revenue for new and existing accounts Generate at least 10 qualified sales leads per month to help maintain at least 30 ongoing active target accounts Assist the District Sales Manager with the preparation of annual budgets Consistently reply to requests for information, sales leads or rates to clients Actively participate in in branch sales meeting and contribute to district sales program Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool Orchestrate customer / branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer’s logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection. Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager Take on additional assignments as required, supporting company needs MUST BE LOCAL
