About The Position

The Los Angeles Unified School District offers the District Proficiency and Instructional Assistance Test to individuals who are interested in: -Meeting the Every Student Succeeds Act requirements to be eligible for employment as a paraprofessional (e.g., Teacher Assistant, Instructional Assistant, Library Aide, etc.). -To be eligible for employment as a Vocational Instructor with LAUSD. -To satisfy the high school educational requirement for classified (non-teaching) job opportunities.

Requirements

• Must show an official, current photo identification (driver license, state-issued identification card, or passport) at the time of the testing appointment
• LAUSD employees must sign in to the GlobalProtect Virtual Private Network (VPN) in order to submit an application from an external network outside of an LAUSD location.
