Role Summary The District Operations Manager – Emerging Markets is responsible for driving clinic performance, operational excellence, and growth across Spring and Open Fertility sites in Denver, Portland and future markets. This role will directly manage practice managers and partner closely with medical and lab directors to deliver high quality care and outcomes at all sites . The District Operations Manager embodies Spring Fertility’s values of compassion, teamwork, and innovation. This leader is committed to empowering patients, supporting teams, and delivering seamless, high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations or hospitality leadership required
  • Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and drive performance outcomes required
  • Willingness to travel ~50% across the assigned regions required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fertility services or women’s health preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinic workflows and patient experience drivers preferred
  • Demonstrated success in managing P&L, team development, and operational scale preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional clinic performance, ensuring excellence in growth, patient experience, operational efficiency, and team engagement.
  • Achieve key metrics across volume, utilization, patient satisfaction (SLAs), labor efficiency, and budget goals.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to best practices in scheduling, staffing, SOPs, regulatory compliance, and office processes (e.g., inventory).
  • Drive cost-effective operations while maintaining exceptional standards of care and patient experience.
  • Lead and mentor practice managers through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
  • Build leadership capability within the team, empowering practice managers to independently drive site operations and results.
  • Partner with the People team on hiring, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement through effective communication and recognition practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing, patient onboarding, and other cross-functional teams to meet regional growth goals.
  • Develop and execute operational plans to support growth—including staffing, space planning, and new site development.
  • Own P&L performance across regional sites and partner with senior leadership on strategic expansion initiatives.
  • Lead routines for KPI tracking, reporting, and performance reviews.
  • Implement and enhance operational tools such as staffing models, scheduling systems, and escalation protocols.
  • Ensure consistent use and improvement of Spring and Open Fertility best practices.
  • Contribute to building scalable infrastructure to support company growth and operational excellence.
