This leadership role is ideal for a healthcare operations professional with experience in respiratory home health, durable medical equipment (DME), or post-acute care management. Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in respiratory therapy, DME, or home health
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical program management
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and performance improvement
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
  • Background investigation (company-wide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
  • Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
  • Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
  • Multi-task along with attention to detail
  • Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related or equivalent experience in HME, Home Health Industry, or Business
  • Experience with medical equipment, preferred
  • Experience with medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement, preferred
  • Experience in medical field and administrative record management, preferred
  • Four years of related work experience, preferred
  • Medical terminology, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, and performance across two locations
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, FDA/DOT, and accreditation standards (e.g., JCAHO)
  • Manage inventory, billing, and documentation to support timely reimbursement
  • Collaborate with respiratory clinicians and sales teams to grow referral networks
  • Implement and monitor clinical programs such as our Gold Care initiative
  • Lead morning huddles, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives
  • Maintain high levels of patient and referral source satisfaction
  • Drive growth strategies to meet or exceed budgeted goals
  • Travel between locations as needed
