Reporting to the Region Manager, this role involves overseeing 175,000 acres of TIMO and NIPF business in South Carolina. The District Manager will play a crucial role in managing existing operations, driving new business in forest management and real estate services, and supervising a team of 4 employees. District Manager – Chester, SC AFM’s Chester District has an opening for a District Manager position reporting to the Region Manager. The position is responsible for management of 175,000 acres comprised of TIMO property as well as NIPF ownership in central and upstate South Carolina. It is also responsible for generating new business in forest management and real estate services. In this role a successful candidate will lead a team of 4 employees while mentoring, developing and guiding them to achieve their career goals. Activities include internal and client budget preparation, timber sales and marketing, harvesting, reforestation, road construction and maintenance, contract negotiation, certification compliance, hunting club management, environmental compliance and land sales support.
