About The Position

The District Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of performance and operations for HearUSA retail clinics within the West Mountain District. The District Manager serves as the primary regional leader, translating company strategy into effective clinic-level execution while advancing HearUSA’s commitment to “Simply Excellent Hearing Care.”

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on management experience in retail healthcare or a similar multi-unit environment.
  • Proven people leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate expectations, coach performance, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong background in driving sales performance and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated strengths in planning, analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and proactive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and willingness to learn and adopt new systems and applications.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven work environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience delivering information to both small and large groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey detailed or technical information.
  • Availability to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and role-model HearUSA’s core values and expected behaviors through frequent clinic visits and consistent follow-up to drive sustainable performance and a superior client experience.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned clinics to monitor performance, provide timely feedback, recognize achievements, and ensure alignment on priorities and goals.
  • Develop and execute clear action plans (monthly, weekly, and daily) for clinics within the assigned district, ensuring teams understand priorities, expectations, and the “why” behind initiatives.
  • Identify barriers to clinic performance and take an active role in problem-solving by collaborating with center teams and cross-functional partners to implement effective solutions and processes.
  • Partner with the Training team and Hearing Care Provider Team Leads to support the onboarding, training, monitoring, and ongoing development of new and existing clinic employees.
  • Ensure consistent execution of daily operational standards, including sales performance, inventory control, and cash management.
  • Manage and oversee a regional budget, ensuring each clinic operates within established financial guidelines.
  • Drive financial performance through P&L oversight, budget adherence, and achievement of district-level financial goals.
  • Work onsite in clinics with an expectation of visiting each center approximately 2–3 times per quarter to provide hands-on leadership and support.
