  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement)
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field
  • Regular travel within the assigned district to support store operations, conduct inspections, audits, and investigations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a confidential, sensitive environment
  • Willingness to support a drug-free workplace, including passing a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Implement asset protection initiatives that support shrink reduction, loss prevention, and physical security across all stores within the assigned district.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards related to asset protection.
  • Conduct regular store inspections to assess compliance with loss control processes, physical security measures, and alarm systems; follow up on corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyze sales, shrink, and exception reporting data to identify trends and recommend profit improvement solutions.
  • Lead and conduct internal and external theft, fraud, and misappropriation investigations using CCTV systems, store data, and investigative interviewing techniques.
  • Support Human Resources and Associate Relations by investigating employment-related allegations, including harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, and wage and hour concerns.
  • Coordinate and perform operational and asset protection audits; prepare accurate reports for leadership review.
  • Train and coach store management and associates on shrink awareness, theft prevention, operational controls, and serious incident response.
  • Build strong partnerships with store leaders, operations teams, and associates through open communication and ongoing support.
  • Lead, develop, and support Asset Protection Specialists within the district.
