District Construction Manager

We are looking for our District Construction Manager, where you will have full P&L responsibility for the development and implementation of the construction operations within our Southeast District . You would help foster successful customer relations and ensure safe, reliable, high-quality execution of the construction projects consistent with business and financial targets. Additionally, you will actively manage portfolio performance in terms of progress against schedule, planning accuracy, productivity, safety, quality performance, and customer satisfaction while managing the Delivery Operations team, including team development and ensuring competence and optimized allocation of the resources. This position can be based out of the Atlanta, Orlando, or Miami area; expected travel throughout the Southeast District of up to 50%.

5+ years progressive management experience (including managing people, budgets, planning etc.).
Proven success in Project Management and Construction Operations business, preferably both.
4 year college degree from an accredited college/university or 8+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

Proactively drive outstanding performance in Safety and Quality in Delivery Operations.
Ensure customer-centricity in all projects by understanding and serving customer needs and proactive communication throughout the project (i.e., transparency, flexibility, and dependability).
Responsible for development, implementation and attainment of an annual business plan, operating budget and orders budget utilizing KONE business processes.
Actively monitors and reports project and installation performance, ensures action on deviations, continuously driving productivity improvements, and delivers projects at or better than estimate.
Lead, evaluate, and develop employees to achieve the established budget, safety, quality and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsible for managing all people processes, including staffing, compensation, performance management, etc.
Ensure that KONE adds value to customers’ projects with seamless, proactive, and reliable project delivery.
Ensure accuracy of schedule, revenue and cost planning as per policies.
Drive efficient, safe, and high-quality installation operations in line with KONE methods.
Organizes and operates regular portfolio and operational reviews to manage project and installation performance.
Maintains and communicates order book status, resource needs and installation capacity as part of the Sales and Operations planning process.
Performs site and process audits within team to ensure compliance with installation methods, safety policies and local processes.
