About The Position

State Representative Daryl Campbell is now accepting applications in his Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.
  • Ability to perform Constituent Management.
  • Ability to manage Day-to-day Operations including Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications.
  • Ability to Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports.
  • Ability to Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System.
  • Ability to handle Required Legislative Filings.
  • Knowledge of Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District.
  • Ability to perform Community and Public Outreach.
  • Willingness to complete Mandatory Trainings as Assigned.
  • An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
