About The Position

The District Academic Data Coordinator supports the effective use of academic data across campuses to drive instructional decisions and improve student outcomes. This role is responsible for managing assessment systems, analyzing performance trends, and partnering with district and campus leaders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. The coordinator plays a key role in strengthening a data-driven culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Campus administrator experience preferred (e.g., Assistant Principal, Dean of Academics, or similar role)
  • Strong understanding of assessment systems, accountability measures, and instructional practices
  • Experience working with student data systems and reporting tools (e.g., DMAC, TEKS Resource System, or similar)
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience supporting data-driven instruction at the campus or district level
  • Ability to lead professional development for adult learners
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain district academic data systems, including assessment platforms and reporting tools
  • Compile, analyze, and present student performance data (e.g., CBAs, benchmarks, state assessments) for district and campus leadership
  • Develop clear, user-friendly reports and dashboards to support instructional decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely submission of required reports
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams to align assessments with standards and monitor student progress
  • Support campuses in interpreting data and identifying trends, gaps, and targeted action steps
  • Provide training and ongoing support to leaders and staff on data systems and data analysis practices
  • Assist in progress monitoring of district and campus academic goals
  • Support preparation for accountability ratings and compliance reporting
  • Respond to data requests from district leadership in a timely and organized manner
