Distribution Transportation Specialist
About The Position
The Distribution Transport Specialist ensures safe and timely transportation of hospital equipment, supplies, mail, and sensitive materials between Children's Mercy locations. This role supports logistics, distribution, and inventory control while serving as the point of contact in the absence of the Logistics Manager. If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience Hospital supply chain experience preferred or
- HS diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years experience Hospital supply chain experience preferred
- Missouri Driver's class E License Required Upon Hire
- Completed DOT MEC (Medical Examination Certificate) Required Upon Hire
