Requirements

  • Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous supply chain experience preferred.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.
  • Effective English communication (read, write, speak and understand).
  • Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supply chain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations.
  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
  • Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
  • Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
  • Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
  • Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
  • Processes outgoing mail.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
