The Distribution Supervisor position in our distribution department in Camden, NJ. Supervises the truck drivers and maintains the delivery fleet as well as the linen deliveries to the customers and verifies the accuracy of the driver logs and vehicle records. The anticipated salary for this position starts at $60,000-$77,000 a year but is commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of operations experience is required.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening), organizational, and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of HCSC.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Leads employees to achieve high-quality, efficient performance while promoting teamwork, morale, and compliance.
  • Develops and manages driver schedules, coordinate deliveries, handle call-offs and vacations.
  • Ensures on-time deliveries, customer notifications of delays, and proper route adherence via GPS monitoring.
  • Maintains accurate employee, vehicle, and delivery records, including time, attendance, logs, and DOT documentation.
  • Oversees vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, repairs, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Reviews and verifies all required paperwork (fuel receipts, logs, inspections) and maintain necessary parts and supplies inventory.
  • Enforces company policies and ensure compliance with safety standards, and all local, state, and federal regulations.
