Our services directly impact the health and safety of the patients by providing healthcare facilities with top-quality linen services. We sort, process, and deliver linen for every healthcare need. The Dock Jockey position in our distribution department in Asbury Park, NJ continuously loads and unloads soiled/clean linen carts off the vehicles - by account per the daily schedule - or by communication via management. The anticipated hourly rate for this position starts at $28.50/hr. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience is preferred.
- Must possess a valid CDL A license.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening), organizational, and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of HCSC.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a fork lift and Pallet Jack are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records related to deliveries, shipments, and vehicle logs.
- Records and maintains a daily record of accomplishments.
- Verify shipments for accuracy by checking contents against delivery documentation and reporting discrepancies.
