About The Position

AS A DISTRIBUTION MATERIAL HANDLER, you'll need to have knowledge of maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe working area. Responsible for the distribution of Medical-Surgical supplies to surgical services and patient service areas. Needs to be efficient in maintaining medical and surgical supplies. Basic knowledge of Bacteriology in performance of all duties and responsibilities. Knowledge of computerized inventory system and data entry.

Requirements

• Be a High school graduate or equivalent with the ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions required.
• Have experience as a nursing assistant or related position to grasp the usage of materials and equipment required.
• Have computer knowledge.
• Must have current PA license.

Nice To Haves

• Have knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
