We have a rare but exciting permanent opportunity for a Distribution Management System Engineer to join our tight-knit Engineering team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for configuring and maintaining our Distribution Management System (DMS) suite of products to a high standard with high availability. You will also be tasked with training and supporting users and operators of the system and resolving any issues.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification, such as Bachelor of Engineering, Diploma of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Proven experience in DMS/SCADA setup (Config - HMI and Backend) and Maintenance (support).
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues with a DMS.
• Experience with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, DNP/Serial, DNP/IP, and MODBUS.
• Solid understanding of a power distribution system.
• Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the Distribution Management System (DMS) suite of products.
• Ensure high availability and performance of the DMS.
• Train and support users and operators of the DMS.
• Resolve any issues related to the DMS.
