About The Position

The Distribution Lead Contract Compliance role provides senior-level oversight of large-scale distribution construction programs. This role delivers technical leadership, contractor oversight, and field coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of electric distribution construction and maintenance practices.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities for field oversight personnel.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and concurrent projects.
• Excellent stakeholder communication including leadership and external partners.
• Ability to assess risk and make strategic field decisions impacting cost, schedule, and safety.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years construction management experience OR Associate degree plus 7 years construction management experience OR High school diploma with 9 years utility construction experience including leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead field oversight for complex distribution construction projects.
• Coordinate contractor activities across multiple crews and work locations.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project execution including cost, schedule, and construction quality.
• Resolve technical issues and schedule risks.
• Mentor Contract Compliance I and II personnel.
• Interface with project managers, contractors, and utility leadership.
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
