The Distribution Driver is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely transporting customers and vehicles as needed. This role ensures company vehicles are operated in compliance with all safety procedures and maintained in clean, working condition. The Shuttle Driver also assists with daily shop and facility needs, including picking up parts, delivering tires, and handling other deliveries from vendors. Additional responsibilities include organizing tire inventory, stocking supplies, and performing routine housekeeping tasks such as cleaning restrooms, maintaining the showroom, removing snow from entryways, and emptying trash. Attention to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are essential to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of driving experience is preferred.
  • Must be certified to operate a tow motor and/or warehouse order picker. Training and certification can be provided if not already obtained; candidate must be willing to complete this training.
  • Valid Drivers' License

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 26-foot international box truck to replenish parts and tires at internal locations and warehouses approximately three days per week.
  • Load, secure, and unload orders for delivery while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify delivery contents, complete return forms, and process invoices, transfers, and related paperwork accurately.
  • Deliver customer orders promptly and professionally, following assigned routes and schedules.
  • Maintain courteous, professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members; refer complex inquiries to management as needed.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks; report any necessary repairs or non-routine issues to management.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all safety and vehicle procedures arefollowed at all times.
  • Conduct daily vehicle cleanups andassistwith facility housekeeping and general maintenance tasks when not making deliveries.
  • Support warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and attendance guidelines.
  • Accurately follow oral and written instructions,demonstratingattention to detail and high-quality work.
  • Exhibit professionalism, teamwork, and a proactive attitude under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Seek out training opportunities and skill development both internally and externally.
