In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately. OverviewThis role does not require a CDL license to be hired and will be going through training to obtain CDL B. The Distribution Driver Helper is responsible for assisting delivery drivers with assigned route delivery functions.

Requirements

  • 1 years of experience
  • Must obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
  • Experience in a warehousing environment
  • Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers
  • Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner
  • Collect and return all payments as required
  • Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned
  • Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed
  • Ensure delivery logs are completed as required
  • Ensure check-in procedures are followed daily
  • Attend monthly safety meetings
  • Take only safety courses and other classes as needed
  • Report all moving violations to management
  • Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner, as needed within licensing requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
