About The Position

The Distribution Coordinator is responsible for customer service and support, delivery scheduling and communication. The most critical responsibility is to ensure that orders arrive on-time and customer service is maintained at the highest level possible.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age per state law
  • Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize
  • Has a high attention to detail and strong sense of organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ Distribution & Logistics experience
  • Working knowledge basic software systems, including Microsoft Office Suites, G Suites, etc

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of METRC and/or Leaf Link software - preferred
  • 2+ years Scheduling & Routing experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Effectively coordinates and plans deliveries, ensuring orders arrive on-time while maximizing efficiency as much as possible.
  • Maintains and follows most effective delivery schedules ensuring resources are being maximized and we are controlling cost.
  • Maintains regular communication with customers regarding delivery timings, and schedules deliveries to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborates closely with the Sales Team to enhance customer satisfaction and addresses client requirements.
  • Oversees critical documents, including invoices, manifests, and cash receipts.
  • Monitors and records metrics related to product rejections, delivery rescheduling, and other delivery-related exceptions.
  • Ensures accurate and complete entry of all orders in the METRC system.
  • Actively works with drivers and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
  • Continuously identifies and implements strategies to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Follow up on delivery exceptions, report recurrent issues, and ensure effective resolution.
  • Addresses issues raised by customers and sales representatives promptly and professionally.
  • Maintains accurate scheduling boards
  • Assists in the implementation of new software systems and technologies
  • Regularly reviews open order reports to ensure up-to-date and accurate status.
