The Distribution Coordinator completes distribution tasks, including processing orders, arranging transportation, and performing data entry and filing, etc. The Distribution Coordinator is responsible for inbound and outbound shipments for Prinova, as well as assisting with other departmental tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; some college education preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in a clerical role; warehouse environment preferred
  • Intermediate mathematical skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer concepts
  • FBSS, ERP, or other Inventory Systems experience preferred
  • Experience operating a forklift and loading and unloading trucks
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to sit for extended hours
  • Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas
  • Other physical requirements include occasional squatting, bending, twisting and bi-lateral hand and wrist movement
  • Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
  • All Prinova employees are required to ensure compliance standards with food safety, food defense, and food quality (FDA, ILDPH, FSMA, and BRC).
  • It is the responsibility of each employee to comply with occupational safety and health standards issued under OSHA and to follow all rules, regulations, and procedures established by the Company to ensure that their actions do not impact the health and safety of themselves or others.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare packing lists, BOL’s, and paperwork for outbound orders
  • Schedule freight carrier pick-ups
  • Process UPS, FedEx, or DHL small package/letter shipments
  • File/Scan shipping documents
  • Answer phones as needed
  • Update Logs
  • Load and unload carriers; operate forklifts and follow strict safety guidelines
  • Pull raw ingredients and/or packaging materials according to provided documents
  • Stage components and put away material in designated areas
  • Provide required training and direction to Material Handlers
  • Verify packing lists, BOL’s, and paperwork for outbound orders
  • Prepare International shipments, including all necessary documents
  • Perform various data entry tasks; update necessary spreadsheets
  • Clean and organize the warehouse floor as required
  • Process damaged goods
  • Re-Label Product if needed
  • Fill out paperwork forms as required (IGIS, PLIGIS, etc.)
  • Be familiar with company policies (Such as SOP’s) to complete all assignments
  • Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOP’s
  • Work with planning to arrange and verify 3 rd party shipments
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary
