About The Position

Operate vehicles and handle the distribution of materials safely and efficiently. Drive assigned routes and transport documents, materials, mail, tools and equipment to all maintenance districts and downtown locations. Transport automotive parts to and from contracted vendors. Provide transportation services to all divisions within the department. Performs other duties as assigned. This position's territory is County Wide.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Development Test (G.E.D.) Certificate is required.
Three (3) years of work experience as a courier or delivery driver in a role involving route-based delivery operations is required.
Possession of a valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required.
This position is considered a safety-sensitive position. Candidates who are selected to fill safety-sensitive positions must pass a required drug test as part of the pre-employment background check process.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
