About The Position

About the Role: Are you passionate about contributing to engaging work? If you are, we want to talk to you. We are currently looking to add a Team Lead to our Product Assembly team. As a Team Lead you will provide guidance and training, empower employees to meet quotas, and resolve small employee issues. You'll ensure production specification are followed and quality is meet, ensure GMP and SOP compliances are being followed, count, and verify components, prepare Quality samples and obtain Quality approvals of said samples. You also may need to assist the supervisors in scheduling and special projects, and cross-train and assist in other areas (e.g. Kits, Tables/TAKT lines, Auto labelers, Quality, Returns) as needed. You could be required to learn/operate machines such as auto label lines, pallet jacks, conveyor belts TAKT Line, inkjet printers. In this role, you will need to consistently operate within established attendance, safety, and electronic usage guidelines or policies.

Requirements

• Two years Nu Skin Distribution Center experience preferred
• Team Lead or equivalent leadership experience preferred
• Required strong understanding of English and ability to follow all English written and verbal orders and instructions
• Ability to collaborate with, and motivate others, in meeting quotas
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced production environment – flexible and able to adapt under pressure
• Able to cross-train and work in other department areas (e.g. kits, tables, auto-label lines shipping, returns)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to learn how to operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Understanding of the activities and processes of the Distribution Center
• Ability to give clear directions, define goals, and follow-up to ensure completion
• Ability to establish and maintain positive work environment
• Proficient in applicable software programs and operating systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP, REDZONE, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide input on employee performance to supervisors
• Train employees on work procedures
• Supervise safe operation of equipment
• Motivate employees to reach quotas and ensure task completion
• Resolve minor employee issues; refer serious issues to supervisor
• Provide basic SAP/WMS or equipment support, REDZONE
• Assist supervisor in special projects, initiatives, or process improvements
• Identify and propose process improvement opportunities
• Review area performance; document and reconcile errors within team
• Label products
• Assemble kits according to various specifications
• Accurately count and record all products boxed
• Report any product concerns
