Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting
  • Minimum 1-2 years' leadership experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
  • High degree of credibility and integrity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory or warehouse software, databases, and other systems including SAP and WMS, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety of employees via active safety culture management, policy enforcement, and assisting in developing improvements to our business
  • Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the department’s mission in an effective and efficient manner
  • Plans and coordinates work by performing time studies, cost analysis, prototype builds or other means as necessary
  • Trains and motivates; monitors and evaluates performance of associates in the department
  • Ensures ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations
  • Develops Team Leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned associates
  • Monitors, measures, and documents department performance for cost, labor, and productivity requirements
  • Working with the Human Resources Department, selecting employees through the normal hiring process, administer policies and procedures as applicable, monitor employee performance/attendance/time, resolve associate relation issues, coach and counsel for improvement and apply discipline where necessary up to and including termination of employment
