The Distribution Center Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of a distribution center, ensuring that all logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes run smoothly and meet organizational goals. This role involves leading a team of supervisors and staff, optimizing workflows, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and experience in logistics and warehouse management. The Distribution Center Production Manager will play a critical role in building a positive work culture, driving employee involvement, and supporting change management efforts within the retail organization.

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, receiving, packing, shipping, and customer service
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary
  • Meet regularly with warehouse Supervisors, Coordinators and Leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention
  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with Supply Chain and Distribution Center Leadership teams, drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
  • Handles special projects and assignments as needed
