We believe in empowering your future! In the role of Distribution Center Manager, you will lead a team of DC associates in all general Distribution Center (DC) activities. Such activities include overseeing day to day order processing, inventory control, and transportation decisions. Additional responsibilities include facility management, expense control, site safety and security. This is a highly visible role. The right individual must be comfortable working with both local and national sales teams in a time sensitive, transactional work environment. Ideal candidate must be a confident, yet humble team player with a can-do attitude. Most importantly, a candidate must have a proven track record to lead, train and develop people in fast paced work environment.

Requirements

Minimum 7 to 10 years distribution experience in a leadership role
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills - must be detail oriented
Prior experience working closely with a sales team
Must be mechanically inclined enough to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Carrier selection and freight tendering experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior experience using WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office software
A calm, level-headed demeanor and positive attitude when dealing with stressful situations
