Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• 1+ year of related work experience
• 6+ months of supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of distribution functions and production standards preferred
• Must have a 'Safety First' mentality
• Intermediate experience in MS Office, particularly Excel and other warehouse management system software
• Effective listening, speaking and writing communication skills
• Interpersonal skills that promote collaboration with operations team
• Ability to analyze problems and resolve issues in a calm, professional manner in a fast paced and frequently changing environment
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

Responsibilities

• Supervise Distribution Center crews and participate in activities related to receiving, storing, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure effective and efficient operations
• Promote productivity and safety through effective training and constant feedback to team members
• Monitor team member attendance and performance to provide feedback, as necessary
• Maintain daily objectives and ensure work goals are met in a timely and effective manner
• Communicate with other Distribution Center departments to maintain efficient product flow
• Conduct departmental meetings to provide working and safety instructions to team members
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
