Distribution Associate- 2nd shift (2pm-11pm M-F)
About The Position
At Cytiva, one of Danaher’s operating companies, the Distribution Associate - Shipping Associate is a pivotal role within distribution operations. This position ensures that all products are moved safely, accurately, and on time, encompassing tasks from receiving and stocking inventory to preparing shipments for customers globally. The role demands hands-on work, meticulous attention to detail, adherence to regulatory compliance, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This on-site role is located in Logan, UT, within the A9 Distribution center and is part of the Supply Chain and Logistics Department.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Able to meet physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods)
- Comfortable working in cold environments (cooler/freezer)
- Comfortable working at heights and able to safely perform tasks on elevated platforms
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience
- Experience with Oracle or similar inventory systems
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage domestic and international orders, ensuring accuracy across both large and small package shipments
- Prepare and ship hazardous materials in full compliance with IATA, IMDG, DOT, and CTPAT regulations
- Verify item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities to maintain precise inventory accuracy
- Handle temperature sensitive materials using dry ice, wet ice, and insulated packaging methods
