Title: Di stinguished Machine Learning Engineer , Computer Vision Overview : GEICO is on a multi-year journey to transform the insurance industry with Artificial Intelligence. The Team : The AI Modeling and Research team is part of the AI Org, which is Geico’s strategic investment with the mission to transform Geico into an AI-first company. AI org is led by Vice President, Head of AI. AI Org is in the Technology, Product and AI (TPA) org at Geico. TPA is led by the Chief Technology, Product and AI Officer, who reports to the CEO of Geico. The Role Purpose : We are looking for a highly experienced Di stinguished Engineer w ho has deep insights into ML modeling for computer vision and can lead major technical decisions on how the company can build cutting-edge products powered by industry leading computer vision technologies . The candidate should build close partnerships with produ ct , enginee r ing and ope ra tion leadership across the company. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of AI Modeling and Research .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or AI/ML .
• 1 5 + years of hands-on experience in AI/M L in a production environment.
• 10 + years hands-on expertise in AI/ML for computer vision .
• Successful leadership experience in leading the technical decisons for teams of size >= 15 .
• S trong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• 5 + years experiences in building cross-functional partnerships with product and business .

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in computer vision is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of computer vision systems for the whole company , enabling computer vision capabilities for Geico’s businesses .
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Architect scalable and reliable model ecosystems for a ll types of computer vision use cases .
• Establish and drive best practices in ML modeling , data organization , model management, and observability.
• Help the leadership team m entor and grow a high-performing team of engineers focused on ML modeling for computer vision .
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
• Continuously improving syste m performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Provide state-of-the-art consultation to the Head of AI and Chief AI Officer with regard to computer vision technologies .
