About The Position

We are seeking a product-oriented AI/ML leader who can translate cutting-edge research into compelling narratives for customers, partners, and the broader industry. In this role, you will serve as the public-facing voice of our centralized ML/AI organization-advising teams on how to present their work, shaping our external storytelling, and acting as a trusted evangelist for our AI strategy and innovations. This is a highly cross-functional, outward-facing position ideal for someone who combines deep experience in machine learning and applied science with exceptional communication skills and a passion for making complex technology clear, useful, and exciting. You will help define how we talk about our AI initiatives, ensure our teams communicate effectively with customers, and foster understanding of our AI capabilities in the market.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in machine learning, applied science, or AI-driven product development.
  • Ability to explain advanced ML/AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience serving as a customer-facing technical leader, evangelist, or public communicator.
  • Strong understanding of modern ML architectures (e.g., transformers, LLMs, multimodal systems).
  • Proven track record of writing, speaking, or presenting about technical topics.
  • Comfortable interfacing with customers, executives, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with one or more modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize research and translate it into product direction.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as an evangelist, customer-facing engineer, product strategist, or technical advocate.
  • Experience guiding AI research teams or applied science teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the external evangelist for our AI/ML organization-presenting our capabilities, research, and products to customers, partners, conferences, and press.
  • Advise internal scientists and engineers on how to communicate their work clearly to non-technical audiences, including executives and customers.
  • Develop and refine the public narrative around our AI strategy, product capabilities, and research breakthroughs.
  • Translate complex ML/AI work into product stories that resonate with business stakeholders and industry audiences.
  • Partner with applied scientists, research teams, and PMs to understand upcoming work and shape messaging for launches, events, and customer engagements.
  • Act as a trusted customer proxy, gathering product requirements, identifying customer pain points, and communicating them back to our AI teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to craft whitepapers, case studies, technical blogs, and conference presentations.
  • Represent the organization in customer meetings, industry panels, and technical workshops.
  • Provide input on product roadmaps informed by customer feedback, industry trends, and emerging research.
  • Mentor technical staff on communication best practices and public presentation skills.
