About The Position

Tired of working for a retail pharmacy? Looking for paid holidays, 3 weeks of PTO per year and a four day work week? Look no further! We are looking for a Dispensary Pharmacy Technician who will be responsible for working collaboratively with other Pharmacy Technicians to prepare prescriptions. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures. Opening in 2016, Tailor Made Compounding has been established as one of the top compounding pharmacies in the nation through our compounding expertise, knowledge, and experience. We are experts in compounding for a variety of indications such as men's health, women's health and IV therapy, as well as provide a more custom alternative to standard prescription and over-the-counter medicines. We work closely with our physicians to solve problems for hard to source and hard to compound pharmaceuticals. Our pharmacy focuses on providing mail order services, shipping to 46 states nation wide, both sterile and non-sterile products. We do not accept insurance, allowing us to streamline our processes and offer competitive pricing to our valued customers and patients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician required
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem solving with strong decision making capability
  • Independently motivated
  • Highly versatile and resourceful team player, with the ability to also be effective independently

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription drugs to be checked by a Pharmacist
  • Remove expired products weekly
  • Organize and maintain product stock
  • Count, measure and prepare specified product using company best practices
  • Notify management of out-of-stock or low inventory products
  • Perform other Pharmacy Technician duties as assigned
