About The Position

Schedules and dispatches Maintenance and Environmental Services workers and work crews for normal installation, service, or emergency repairs rendered at all CAMC locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.
  • Maintain and document all applicable required education.
  • Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations.
  • Comply with the company's attendance policy.
  • Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution.
  • Perform work in a cost effective manner.
  • Perform work in accordance with all departmental pay practices and scheduling policies, including but not limited to, overtime, various shift work, and on-call situations.
  • Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization.
  • Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes work orders based on severity and need.
  • Timely and accurate distribute maintenance and environmental services requests to personnel.
  • Determines personnel, equipment, and materials required according to the work orders.
  • Timely and accurately prepare departmental time records, various statistical reports, purchase orders, etc.
  • Orders supplies and equipment and issues them to personnel.
  • Monitors personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules.
  • Records and maintains files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other required information.
  • Confers with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
