About The Position

The main objective of this position is to support the operations management team in a dispatching/administrative role. This position is primarily responsible for scheduling and administrative support, reporting directly to the department manager. The Dispatcher will maintain a strong focus on customer service and technician support and is expected to perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the division manager.

  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new tasks
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails daily, including 100–150 outbound calls per day to schedule customers
  • Dispatch work assignments to field technicians
  • Prepare and send required assignments to technicians in the field
  • Learn service area maps to ensure efficient scheduling with minimal drive time
  • Maintain a 40-hour per week schedule for assigned technicians in the designated territory
  • Review work orders completed by technicians for returns or errors
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, service coordinators, and the service manager
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Perform triage on incoming customer calls and schedule service as necessary
  • Complete administrative tasks including typing, copying, mailings, record keeping, and note taking
