The DCOMM Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating operations across multiple departments, including the Bury, Install, and Enterprise teams. Dispatchers act as the primary point of contact for clients, technicians, and internal teams, helping to streamline workflow and maximize operational efficiency. Requirements

  • This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting field operations and ensuring timely service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring technicians in Minnesota/Wisconsin, Ohio, and Missouri markets are logged into and dispatched to their first assigned job on time each day.
  • Monitoring technician activity and adjusting work assignments as needed to address delays, improve route efficiency, and maintain productivity standards.
  • Assigning additional work to technicians with availability and requesting supplemental workload when necessary to maintain operational balance.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with supervisors and management regarding technician status, performance concerns, delays, or service-related issues.
  • Updating and maintaining Drop Bury Smartsheet records, including accurate entry of locate numbers received from external partners across all assigned markets.
  • Providing end-of-day reporting to management, including a summary of all open jobs in FSM with corresponding technician identification numbers and job IDs.
  • Assisting with updates to scheduled service dates in the Drop Bury Smartsheet for any rescheduled or delayed work orders.
  • This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting field operations and ensuring timely service delivery.
