About The Position

As part of the Harris Warren team and broader Tech24 network, the Customer Service & Dispatcher serves as the central hub of communication between customers, technicians, and internal teams. This dual-role position is the first point of contact for customers and a critical part of service operations, responsible for coordinating service requests, dispatching technicians, and ensuring work orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience while keeping field operations running smoothly through effective scheduling, communication, and follow-through.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of customer service, administrative, or dispatch experience (dispatch experience preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in computer systems, Microsoft Office, and service/dispatch software
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to remain calm, clear, and in control under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC and/or food service industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer calls and respond to service inquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Create and manage service work orders in the system
  • Dispatch and schedule technicians based on priority and availability
  • Communicate appointment details, updates, and follow-ups with customers
  • Coordinate effectively between customers, technicians, and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and job statuses
  • Support administrative tasks, including parts orders and invoicing
  • Provide excellent customer service while ensuring efficient service operations
