About The Position

Blue Flame is part of a national leader providing plumbing, HVAC and electrical products and services to our residential and commercial customers. We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a Dispatcher to join our team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of related experience and/or advanced training/education
• One or more years of experience as a dispatcher or in customer service
• Availability to work a Thursday - Monday schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Tuesday and Wednesday off
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional customer service to customers by phone while directing technicians by radio and tracking devices
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments
• Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
• Knowledge of the local geographic territory
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Set and schedule HVAC Technicians, Installers and Sales appointments for jobs
• Ensure service technicians are dispatched efficiently
• Answer customer calls within a busy office and enter customer data into the computer
• Resolve and assist customers by taking incoming calls and making outbound calls
• Provide back up support for other office roles as required
