Leads and directs shuttles, accountable based on assigned duties and tasks as directed. Serves as central control for day-to-day vehicle communications, trip routing, and handling emergency situations. Diligently monitors shuttles to include on time performance, vehicle pull-outs, and properly documents rider no-shows. Meets with the account manager on a regular basis to discuss KPI’s goals and objectives for the department, and ensure that goals are being met or exceeded. Promotes a teamwork environment and effective communication between Dispatchers, Supervisors, and Operators. Coordinate problem resolution among Operators, Supervisors, and Public. Communicate clear direction and response over radio with operators and supervisors utilizing established radio codes. Influences positive employee morale and quality customer service. Monitors operator sign-in and sign-out utilizing computer-aided dispatching and routing tools. May be required to drive in service when required. Provides superior customer service and communications skills. Documents service disruption issues utilizing the dispatch log. Ensures accurate assignment of vehicles and Operators. Ability to follow company and agency policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned or requested.
