Tasks & Responsibilities Triage incoming transport requests from clients via phone and email communication Transfer the information received from the client into dispatch database Develop logistics plans for individual transports, including ground, commercial air, and charter air transportation, based on client needs Engage and schedule appropriate transportation resources Dispatch transportation resources via phone, providing clear and concise direction as to assignment details Monitor ground and air resources throughout the respective transport, ensuring all points of contact are kept up to date on all relevant movements Maintain accurate notes and enter transport updates into dispatch database Build rapport with client coordinators, region supervisors, and drivers, exuding a customer first attitude Empathize with, evaluate, and escalate client concerns to appropriate members of the management team
