About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Order Dispatcher. The Order Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers while ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software, including order management systems and GPS navigation tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review incoming orders from customers via phone, email, or online platforms.
• Determine the most efficient routes and methods for order delivery based on customer location, order size, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate with drivers and delivery personnel to assign routes and provide necessary instructions for order pickup and delivery.
• Monitor the progress of orders in real-time and provide updates to customers regarding estimated delivery times and any delays or issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure that orders are properly prepared for delivery and that inventory levels are accurately maintained.
• Resolve any delivery-related issues or customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all orders, deliveries, and customer interactions in the company's database or order management system.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the order dispatching process.
