Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatch Associate to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This role is responsible for managing inventory, dispatching items to the lab and other users, and maintaining accurate records in our systems. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, personable, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel is required; experience with Fishbowl or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
• Previous experience in inventory control, logistics, or dispatching is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
• Personable, team-oriented, and capable of effective communication across departments.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control inventory within the shipping and receiving department, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Dispatch materials, equipment, and supplies to labs and other internal users, maintaining proper tracking and documentation.
• Enter daily inventory and dispatch data into internal systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Assist with regular inventory counts, audits, and reporting to support operational needs.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments to prioritize and schedule dispatch requests.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in inventory management and dispatch operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shipping and receiving area.
• Provide excellent internal customer service, acting as a personable and reliable point of contact for inventory and dispatch inquiries.
