Job Overview: The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of personnel, vehicles, or equipment to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This role serves as the central communication hub, relaying information between field staff, customers, and management, while maintaining accurate records of activities and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in some industries).
  • Prior dispatch, scheduling, or coordination experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • May require shift work, weekends, or on-call rotation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with dispatching software, scheduling tools, or related systems.
  • Basic knowledge of geography, routes, and service area.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and prioritize incoming delivery requests from team members.
  • Schedule and assign drivers based on availability, location, and workload.
  • Monitor real-time status of field operations and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management to relay instructions, updates, and changes.
  • Confirm Driver and Courier deliveries were scheduled and delivered on time.
  • Confirm Driver and Courier delivery tickets in Pharmacy Operation System
  • Work with Pharmacy Leadership to make sure patient products are moving through the pharmacy timely to meet delivery time request.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedules, incidents, and completed tasks.
  • Assist in the Warehouse as needed with receiving, packing, shipping, etc.
  • Handle urgent or emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize routes, staffing, and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, delays, or service concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
