About The Position

The Dispatcher
oversees and coordinates the activities of the drivers
by updating websites and monitoring the timeliness of the routes. This role will successfully and professionally communicate with suppliers, customers, drivers, Internal departments, and terminal locations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work some weekend shifts when requested by our customer.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Problem solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook email required.
• Ability to learn new programs as necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Prior dispatch, route management and dispatching experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge in logistics and manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of TMW software is a plus.
• The ideal candidate will be organized, responsible and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace drivers, tractors and shipments for on time delivery.
• Effectively manage drivers using current company policies and procedures.
• Dispatch drivers to and from facility while managing driver routes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, internal and external customers.
