About The Position

Transdev in Tulare, Ca is hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: $24.00 - $28.50(Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) Starting pay $24.00 with progression to $28.50 after 6 years. Benefits include: Vacation : Accrued per Union CBA Guidelines Paid Sick Leave: Accrued according to union CBA guidelines; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience dispatching.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.
  • Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.
  • Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
  • Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
  • Other duties as required.
