Part Time School Bus Dispatcher (Special Needs Transportation) We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-driven School Bus Dispatcher to join our expanding special-needs transportation team. This role is central to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service for the students and families we support. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Must become a Certified Bus Monitor within 30 days
- Must obtain a CDL within the first year
Nice To Haves
- preferred transportation or dispatch experience
Responsibilities
- Dispatch drivers for home to school, career and tech shuttles and charter work
- Communicate with drivers and bus monitors via two way radio
- Support management in preparing and maintaining daily schedules, accurate billing and operational data
- Assist supervisors, families, districts and staff with timely information and issue resolution
- Perform additional duties as assigned
