Appalachian Community Services is seeking a Mobile Crisis Dispatcher to be the first point of contact for individuals in crisis, and to coordinate rapid response efforts to ensure timely and effective support. As a Mobile Crisis Dispatcher, your primary responsibility will be to receive, assess, and prioritize emergency calls, dispatch appropriate crisis intervention staff, provide real-time support to callers, welcoming and registering individuals to the behavioral health urgent care, as well as, providing assistance to the mobile crisis and behavioral health urgent care staff. Additionally, the Dispatcher will complete insurance verifications, enrollments, and monitor the ongoing status of each crisis case.
