Monitor and communicate need for security services throughout assigned area(s). Manage and respond to calls and/or alarms and initiate immediate response. Coordinate and/or dispatch staff in response to requests for service. Retrieve recorded documentation as required. Monitor the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications. Initiate communication with team leader/manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assist with resolution of those issues. May be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees.
