Dispatcher/Maintenance Tech
About The Position
Primary function will be to dispatch work orders primarily to our sister company TXB/Kwik Chek locations and to some Dealer locations from our Bonham office. Main duties of the job are to respond to emergency and nonemergency work orders by dispatching these work orders to McCraw techs and 3rd party service companies to repair equipment in these locations. Order parts for fuel equipment, lights, and replacement parts as needed. Conduct monthly inventory of parts in inventory in the cage. Purchase equipment for stores as needed. Get quotes for equipment repair/replacement as needed. Manage fuel compliance for tanks, lines, and other fuel equipment as required by TCEQ in Texas and OCC in Oklahoma. Occasional, shipping back warranty parts. Other duties as assigned. Primary function will be to perform maintenance on fuel dispensers, kitchen equipment, refrigeration equipment, and miscellaneous equipment in C-Stores. Perform a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, cement masonry, dry wall, plumbing, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing our sister company TXB/Kwik Chek facilities. Some overnight travel may be required.
Requirements
- Ability to adjust to hybrid position of dispatching work orders and repairing equipment as needed
- General knowledge of various types of equipment used in convenience stores
- Ability to work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally and written at a high level.
- Ability to follow instructions, given either orally or in writing
- Proficient with Excel and Word documents
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Excellent listening skills
- Schedule may include on call on a rotating basis
Nice To Haves
- Experience in dispatching work orders or customer service is recommended
- Experience in general trades of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and handy man maintenance is recommended
