Under the Direct Supervision of the Communication Supervisors and the Communications Director, to manage units in service and provide System Status Management for special contract EMS units. This is a 40-hour work week position that acts as the single business contact for special contracts during normal business hours. The hours will be 09:00 - 17:00. The Liaison Dispatcher Specialist will dispatch units via digital two-way radio and paging system (Mobilis), as well as receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls using the Zoll CAD (Computer Assisted Dispatch) software with 100% accuracy. This position will also answer phones, input calls, and provide support to normal communications center operations as needed.
